After his high-profile meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump last week, Kanye West took a trip to Uganda, where he met with president Yoweri Museveni — and gave him a pair of Yeezys.
West and his wife Kim Kardashian met with Museveni to discuss tourism and the arts in Uganda, and the politician described their conversation as "fruitful." He also thanked West for his gift of sneakers.
The celebrity couple have been vacationing at a Ugandan national park, and West has reportedly been recording new music in a tent. He shared a Periscope video stream of him performing between three different dome tents. The video is simply titled "Spaceship calling earth."
It's unclear if the songs performed will appear on his forthcoming album Yandhi, but we'll find out when the LP arrives on November 23. Watch the performance footage below.

I welcome American entertainment stars Kanye West and @KimKardashian to Uganda. I held fruitful discussions with the duo on how to promote Uganda's tourism and the arts. I thank Kanye for the gift of white sneakers. Enjoy your time in Uganda. It is the true Pearl of Africa. pic.twitter.com/BO0iD0sFCP
