Kanye West has promised Jesus Is King will arrive today, but so far, the album is nowhere to be seen. However, the day isn't over quite yet, and now news has emerged that an event called "Jesus Is King: A Kanye West Experience" will be held tonight.

The newly announced event at the Fox Theater in Detroit starts at 8 p.m. EDT. As of press time, though, it's unclear what the event actually entails — or if it means Jesus Is King is indeed dropping tonight.

The event listing reads: "Kanye West will bring 'Jesus Is King: A Kanye West Experience' to the Fox Theatre in The District Detroit tonight — Friday, September 27 at 8 p.m. Guests are strongly encouraged to arrive early for this event. Doors will open to the Grand Lobby starting at 6:30 p.m."

Earlier today, Kanye also held one of his Sunday Service events in Detroit at the Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre.

As previously reported, reports emerged this week that Jesus Is King won't actually arrive on schedule today. That said, West's wife Kim Kardashian has continued to tease the release.
