Justin Bieber and the Weeknd have been making Canada proud on the pop charts for years, but it seems there's some bad blood brewing between the two stars.
Over the weekend, the Biebs was caught on camera dissing the Starboy himself. When asked by TMZ if he could listen to the Weeknd's music, Bieber laughed and replied, "Hell no, I can't listen to a Weeknd song."
When further prodded by TMZ's dude asking "Why not?" the singer simply said, "That shit's whack," before getting into a car and cruising off (obviously sporting sunglasses at night).
Many suspect that the Biebs's public disdain for his fellow pop star is a result of recently shared photos featuring his ex Selena Gomez getting friendly with the singer born Abel Tesfaye. Tesfaye's ex, supermodel Bella Hadid, meanwhile, made her opinion on the alleged budding romance known on Instagram last week. (For those seeking an extra juicy side plot, Gomez also happens to be besties with Hadid's older sister Gigi, who is now seemingly in the middle of all the drama.)
The Weeknd has yet to respond to the taunting remarks from Bieber, though we're guessing there aren't any plans for a super-collaboration between the stars any time soon.
