Ottawa singer-songwriter Jonathan Becker delivered his self-titled solo EP back in 2016, but now he's reteamed with his band the North Fields for a new single.
"New Blood" is set to appear on the group's upcoming full-length Sober Dawn, and it arrives complete with an accompanying music video.
"The song is about appreciating positive connections that we maintain in our lives," Becker tells Exclaim! "It's about both persevering with our old bonds and being willing to let go of toxic relationships in order to have space for new connections. We all help to carry each other through the dark times."
The video footage was collected while the band spanned the country between Ottawa and Vancouver on a 2016 tour. Watch the video for "New Blood" down below.
