John Foxx and Jori Hulkkonen Team Up for Collaborative 'European Splendour' EP, Get David Lynch for Remix

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jul 11, 2013

Original Ultravox frontman John Foxx has gone on to have a long and productive solo career, and this has included collaborating with Finnish electronic expert Jori Hulkkonen. Now the pair have teamed up once again, this time for a joint EP. European Splendour will be out on August 19 through Sugarcane Recordings.

The EP includes four original tunes, plus a remix of opening cut "Evangeline," by musically inclined filmmaker David Lynch. The CD version adds two additional tracks: a radio edit of "Evangeline" and an instrumental version of Lynch's remix.

The 12-vinyl pressing is available to pre-order here, and the CD is here. As you'll notice if you follow the links, the different formats appear to have different artwork; that's the vinyl cover above.
