"They say it's like an equivalent to running 20 miles when you bust a nut."

This month, we've learned that when it comes to sex, some rappers reportedly like it hot, but Joey Bada$$ has shared that when he's in the mood, he prefers not to ejaculate at all, in an effort to "preserve my lifeforce."

The revelation from the ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADA$$ came during an interview on sex and relationship podcast Lip Service earlier this week (January 25), in which he declared, "I'd rather not bust a nut… period."

"For the people who's hearing this for the first time, it's going to sound crazy," he said with a laugh, before explaining his lifeforce preservation theory.

"When a man ejaculates, there's a lot of things that leave your body," the artist shared. "There's blood cells, there's testosterone, energy, you know, you get depleted. They say it's like an equivalent to running 20 miles when you bust a nut."

When asked about the "how" by the Lip Service hosts, the Pro Era artist shared that he's practically a veteran when it comes to this act of vas deferens deferral.

"I've been doing this for like two years, I just hold it," he continued, claiming, "Once you don't release that big ejaculation, you come a lot of times. You have like, multiple orgasms."

Of course, Joey Bada$$ is, well, a Bada$$ more than he is a licensed medical practitioner. But in the grand scheme of things, there are certainly much worse personal health beliefs one can hold these days.

You can find the artist's complete Lip Service interview below. A 2020 investigation into semen retention by Men's Health found that while there were no concrete benefits to the practice, other health risks are minimal.

"There are really no significant risks associated with semen retention," Florida-based physician and medical education consultant Christopher Carrubba, MD, told the publication. "As such, my stance would be that if you think there is a benefit, then have at it."

Joey Bada$$ last delivered the three-song Light Pack in 2020, and made his return earlier this month with new single "THE REV3NGE."
