Next year will mark a decade since Joey Bada$$ made his debut with acclaimed mixtape 1999, so it's only right the artist mark the occasion with a new body of work. The Pro Era co-founder will share third album 2000 on June 17 via Columbia Records.
Set to arrive nearly 10 years to the date after the release of 1999, new album 2000 follows Joey's 2017 full-length ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADA$$. The effort is previewed by a short clip shot in a skatepark, soundtracked by a new song on which the artist declares, "Back on the set like I never left."
Along with the album news, Joey Bada$$ has announced a 20-date North American tour that will take him around the continent this July. Canadian dates include shows in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver, with tickets going on sale tomorrow (May 13) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
2020 saw Joey Bada$$ release three singles as The Light Pack, and shared single "THE REV3NGE" in January. You can revisit the latter below alongside his 2000 teaser.
This week, it was revealed that Joey Bada$$ will appear on a new album from Black Thought and Danger Mouse.
