Rising Brooklyn rapper Joey Bada$$ announced over the weekend that he will represent the burgeoning Beast Coast movement across North America when he heads out on the road this spring.
The appropriately titled "Beast Coast Tour" was announced via Twitter on Saturday night (February 16) and lays out a March/April schedule that will have Bada$$ hitting a number of Canadian venues. While the concert series kicks off in Portland, it quickly finds the MC jumping up to BC for shows in Whistler and Vancouver. A couple of weeks later, he'll make his way through Montreal, Ottawa and Hamilton. You can see the trip details down below.
Bada$$ will be joined on tour by fellow New York natives and Beast Coast affiliates Flatbush Zombies and the Underachievers. Perhaps it's a given, but at present it's unclear if anyone else from Bada$$'s Pro Era crew will be on the trip.
The outfit did, however, recently serve up their outstanding group tape PEEP: the aPROcalypse, so it would be a shame to not bring those collaborative cuts out on tour.
