Our Reviews Editor Kaelen Bell couldn't have said it better himself when he proclaimed: "Gays over 30 rejoice!" The ever-teased collab from Jessie Ware and Róisín Murphy finally arrived yesterday (July 27), and today we've been graced with the music video for "Freak Me Now."

With countless costume changes and colours as bright as Murphy's latest singles shine, the video for their reworking of the Ware deep cut is a non-stop party. Watch it below.

"It is a huge honour to have the queen of disco Róisín Murphy on 'Freak Me Now,'" Ware said in a press release. "I messaged her, hoping she may be interested in featuring on the song, and before I knew it she was in the studio. She recorded all her vocals for the track and sent them over to us. I have admired her work for so many years & respect her so much."

Murphy also appeared on the title track of Ware's excellent album That! Feels Good!, which also houses the original version of "Freak Me Now." She also made an appearance on Ware's Table Manners podcast back in 2019.

Murphy's upcoming record Hit Parade arrives September 8, and many of its pre-release singles have been featured as Exclaim! Staff Picks.
