Jessie Ware has remained relatively quiet since releasing Tough Love in 2014, but that changes today (July 27) with the arrival of the new single "Midnight."
The song arrived through Annie Mac's BBC radio 1 program and can be heard in the player below.
"Midnight" comes from Ware's yet-to-be titled new studio LP, which is expected to see release this fall. As a FADER interview reveals, collaborators include Francis and the Lights, Cashmere Cat, Ryan Tedder, and Justin Bieber songwriter Julia Michaels.
"I've written with a lot of different people, but I think what's bringing it all together is my voice, and the storytelling," she told the publication. "It's quite a personal record, which I didn't realize [when writing it]. I thought I was just writing songs, but it's become this record that's for my husband and my baby. It's been a wild couple of years, and I feel like this album represents those ups and downs, the fear, the beauty, and the celebrations."
