Canadian rock'n'roll two-piece Japandroids recently road-tested some new material with a mini-tour, but with their third album Near to the Wild Heart of Life officially on the way, they've revealed some new live plans.
The band will follow the new album's release with a North American tour that kicks off on February 13 in Madison, WI. Canadian fans will get a chance to catch Japandroids at shows in Toronto on February 17 and Vancouver on March 20. For the North American leg of the tour, the Hold Steady's Craig Finn will fill the support slot, playing solo material alongside his backing band the Uptown Controllers.
Following the shows on home soil, the duo will head across the Atlantic for a string of European dates.
