Jack White

"Blue Light, Red Light (Someone's There)" (Harry Connick Jr. cover)

While Jack White's next vinyl single will host Lazaretto's "That Black Bat Licorice" on the A-side, there's some previously unheard treasure on the flip. At least, that is, until now. A stream of big band B-side "Blue Light, Red Light (Someone's There)" has gone up online.

The tune, originally by Harry Connick Jr., has White veering into jazzy territory. Snappy piano rolls, a swinging beat and more support ol' Jackie as he recounts how living in a tiny apartment or spending time as a sweeper is no big deal, so long as he's got thoughts of his baby. You'll find out if White does, in fact, get to add cubs to the pride by giving the song a stream down below.

Third Man Records puts White's new vinyl single out on February 23.
