Collage's opening track "Opus III" features the lyric "Let's make something that sounds like us," and now we can hear what that sounds like, because Indigo Joseph's new album in streaming in full on Exclaim.ca ahead of its September 12 release date.
While "Opus III" begins the answer with a surge of dance rock, the band quickly mix things up. "Dumb Animals" sports a bright, chilled-out tropical bounce, while the Francophone rocker "La Balance" contains barroom piano and viscous synth squelches, "Pills" has a vintage rock'n'roll flavour, and "Simple Minds" is an acoustic chamber folk instrumental.
