Horseshoe Tavern Adds Whitehorse, the Trews, Terra Lightfoot and Julian Taylor Band to "Hootenanny" Livestreams

The iconic Toronto venue has scheduled four new virtual events

Toronto's Legendary Horseshoe Tavern has announced the latest edition of its Horseshoe "Hootenanny" livestream series, welcoming Whitehorse, the Trews, Terra Lightfoot and Julian Taylor Band
 
Hamilton folk-rock duo Whitehorse will first take the stage on March 26, and tickets to stream Whitehorse are available through Eventbrite here. Then the following weekend, on April 3, Nova Scotia rockers the Trews will perform their first studio album House of Ill Fame in its entirety, as well as new material and other hits. UPDATE (6/14, 2:50 p.m. ET): The Horseshoe "Hootenanny" livestream series has been updated in accordance with Ontario's COVID-19 gathering restrictions. The new schedule is below.

Birds of Bellwoods - July 23
Julian Taylor - July 24
Shaun Majumder - August 6
Zeus & Possum - August 6 (Possum has replaced Fast Romantics)
Serlin Greaves - August 12
Hawksley Workman - August 12
Terra Lightfoot - August 13


At the end of the month, on April 30, Terra Lightfoot will then cover T. Rex's 1972 album The Slider from front to back. Livestream tickets to watch her performance are available here

Finally, Julian Taylor Band, who were recently nominated for Best Jazz/Soul Act at the Black Canadian Awards, will take front and centre on May 1. Tickets to stream Julian Taylor are available here.
