Dozens of musicians from across Ontario have come together for Happy Hollowdaze 2020, a festive new compilation from the organizers of music festival Hollowfest. Proceeds from the compilation will be donated to the Encampment Support Network, providing resources to people affected by Toronto's housing crisis.

Many of the compilation's 31 tracks are seasonally appropriate covers, including Rapport tackling the Waitresses' new wave carol "Christmas Wrapping," Rogue Tenant jamming on Big Star's "Jesus Christ," Slowfish rocking out on "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire," ROY's spacey instrumental rendition of "Silent Night" and Charise Aragoza's beautiful version of Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson's "Winter Song."

Other picks are more curious, including Zoo Owl's take on the Rocky Horror Picture Show tune "Over at the Frankenstein Place," Mother Tongues' cover of Air's "Sexy Boy" and Boy Wonder's version of Tom Petty's "Learning to Fly."

The compilation also features contributions by Nate Mills, Henri Faberge, Kaleidoscope Horse, Moon King, Sauna, Carinae and many more.
