Having already teased their collaborative Bandana album with a pair of singles, Freddie Gibbs & Madlib have now lifted the curtain on the album's cover artwork.

Today, Madlib shared the album's cover artwork (seen above) with the caption, "Something with Freddie coming up this summer." At this point, Bandana has yet to receive an official release date.

The cover image finds Madlib's animated alter ego Quasimoto riding a zebra, enjoying a smoke while looking out over flaming homes from behind the Hollywood sign.

The zebra recalls the cover artwork of the duo's celebrated 2014 LP PiñataThe smashed piñata in the righthand corner also resembles the one appearing on the cover of that album's instrumental collection.

Gibbs and Madlib released a first single from Bandana titled "Flat Tummy Tea" in February. They followed that up with the release of "Bandana," which was revealed to be a digital bonus track on the forthcoming effort.

Bandana is expected to see release this summer through Keep Cool/RCA Records & Madlib Invazion/ESGN.

Last year, Gibbs delivered solo effort Freddie and teamed up with Curren$y and the Alchemist for the collaborative Fetti.
