Halifax-born, Toronto-based twins Mark and J. Scott Grundy have announced their second album as Heaven for RealEnergy Bar is arriving September 16 on Mint Records, and today the band has shared lead single "Slow Clap."

Recorded with Jonas Bonetta and mixed by René Wilson, Energy Bar "is an analysis and an ode to the broader feelings of 'potentiality' — what could be, what things will mean, where things are going; the sense of wondering, questioning, attempts at growth and self-analysis and acceptance," said Mark Grundy.

Of the shambolic, glittery opening track and first single "Slow Clap," Mark said, "just living takes time. Accepting that things sometimes need to slip away, love in its many forms is revealed and again concealed, a waking true observation."

Energy Bar is the full-length follow-up to the band's 2016 debut Kill Your Memory. In March of 2022, they released the Sweet Rose Green Winter Desk Top Tell This Side Autumn of the Fighter Hot in a Cool Way EP.
