Indie rock fans haven't heard from Toronto-based/Halifax-bred band Heaven for Real in a while, but they're finally ready to follow up their 2016 debut Kill Your Memory. On March 25, Mint Records will release an EP with the mouthful of a title Sweet Rose Green Winter Desk Top Tell This Side Autumn of the Fighter Hot in a Cool Way.

The EP title is so long because it is made up of all six tracks' names strung together. Dorothea Paas guests on the song "Autumn of the Fighter."

A press release describes the sound as combining elements of psych, jazz, ambient, electronica and Britpop. The band's Mark Grundy said in a statement, "I could see us veering in a million different directions. [But] we're using guitar rock as something of a palette to draw from, dig into, a lane to drive in. This is where we're at (for now)."

Three of the EP's six songs were already released on Bandcamp: "Sweet Rose," "Green Winter" and "Desk Top." To mark the announcement, Heaven for Real have shared a lyric video for "Sweet Rose."
