Legendary Madchester vocalist Shaun Ryder is taking some time off from the Happy Mondays reunion to discuss aliens and UFOs as the host of a new History Channel program.
Fittingly titled Shaun Ryder On UFOs, the four-episode mini-series will premier on the UK History Channel on November 10. The series will feature interviews with ufologists and reported abductees, and travels to suspect Air Force bases in search of the truth.
Apparently Ryder's interest in the Greys stems from an experience from his childhood. "When I was a 15-year-old lad living in Salford, I looked up at the night sky and saw a UFO," he recounts in a trailer for the series, which you can see below. "I've been obsessed with all things extra-terrestrial ever since. Now I'm on a mission to find out more about what I saw."
It's currently unclear whether the show will air in North America.
