Marking their official return to live shows, Guided By Voices have announced their plans to tour North America later this year, including a stop north of the border.
The band's 10-date trek begins this summer, kicking off in Columbus, OH, on August 28. After a few stops along the Eastern Seaboard, they'll make their in-person return to Canada — making their way north for their first non-virtual performance since 2019 — on December 17 at Toronto's Phoenix Concert Theatre.
Since their last tour, GBV have kept busy releasing a ton of new material, including last month's Earth Man Blues (out now via Rockathon Records) and Heaven Beats Iowa as Cub Scout Bowling Pins, as well as 2020's Surrender Your Poppy Field and Mirrored Aztec.
