Grimes took home the number one spot on Exclaim!'s Top Pop and Rock Albums of 2015 with her latest LP Art Angels, and the momentum behind the recent record isn't slowing down in the new year.
The singer has shared a snippet of a forthcoming video for album highlight "Kill V. Maim," and it features animation by Grimes herself. In a five-second snippet shared via Facebook, she's revealed a grayscale sketch of a wiggling tentacle.
It leaves a lot to the imagination as far as what the rest of the video might hold, but for now, you can check out the tiny teaser in the player below.
UPDATE (01/05, 7:30 p.m.): Apparently the shared clip (which has now been taken down) isn't actually featured in the video itself. As Pitchfork points out, Grimes has stated: "Must be a slow press day. I didn't release any 'preview' of kill v main, just a super basic 2 frame animation that won't appear in the vid."
