Grimes and Elon Musk have had a third child together. A new biography of Musk has revealed that the couple have had a new son named Techno Mechanicus, who goes by the nickname Tau.
The couple's first child, X Æ A-XII (nicknamed X), was born in 2020, followed by Exa Dark Sideræl Musk (nicknamed Y) in 2022. Like this latest child, Exa Dark Sideræl was kept a secret for several months after her birth.
Musk also had twins with Shivon Zilis, an executive at his Neuralink company, in November 2021. Musk had offered to be her sperm donor, according to biographer Walter Isaacson, and he apparently didn't tell Grimes about this arrangement even though it overlapped with her pregnancy.
In a since-deleted tweet to the book's author earlier this week, Grimes pleaded to Isaacson, "Tell Shivon to unblock me and tell Elon to let me see my son or plz respond to my lawyer. I have never even been allowed to see a photo of these children until this moment, despite the situation utterly ripping my family apart."
Grimes and Musk went public with their relationship in 2018. By 2021, they were "semi-separated," but have continued to have children together.
