Horribly tagged by the NME as the future sound of "nu-jangle whatever that is South Londons Good Shoes are so new that they still practice in a shed behind singer Rhys Joness parents house. Sharing musical genes with dexterously angular guitar bands like XTC, the Futureheads and Maximo Park, this jumpy four-piece chop away at their guitars over the skin-tight rhythms while adding layers of delicious pop melodies. Extra brownie points go for (possibly) namedropping our fine nation in the lyrics, but really these youngsters dont need to rely on building a fan base by identifying nations because they have talent to depend on.
