Having gone solo for this year's Rhythm and Repose, Glen Hansard of the Frames and the Swell Season has released a music video for the album cut "High Hope."
The low-key video begins in black and white and shows Hansard riding around town on his bicycle while children hang out next to an enormous apartment building, play instruments, and socialize in a classroom. The clip ends with Hansard leading some kids in a singalong as colour eventually seeps into the picture.
Hansard will perform the song when he makes an appearance as himself on the NBC show Parenthood. He will show up on the episode tonight (December 4) and sales of the song on iTunes will benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, which pursues treatment and research of breast cancer.
