Lil Pump's new song "Racks on Racks" reportedly samples "The Alien," a track from the excellent Annihilation score that Barrow released with Ben Salisbury last year. Barrow has now called Lil Pump's song "deeply fucking sexist" and said that he didn't endorse the sample.
He wrote, "As 2 fathers of daughters this shit needs to seriously fuck off." Salisbury also spoke up to echo Barrow's sentiments. In an additional statement to Pitchfork, Barrow added that he and Salisbury are firm supporters of the #MeToo movement.
Read the tweets below, and listen to both Lil Pump's "Racks on Racks" and Geoff Barrow and Ben Salisbury's "The Alien."

I've done this dance before...
but if we had our own way he'd be forced to donate all money to woman's refuge charities.
How can this shit exist in the same world as the #metoo movement and it doesn't get called out?
β Geoff Barrow (@jetfury) February 1, 2019
Utter bullshit.

β Geoff Barrow (@jetfury) February 1, 2019
at the same time you are using your energy to have a go at me instead of him... π€·π»ββοΈ
Agree with everything @jetfury says here. If you want to make or listen to this sexist crap then that's your call. But if, when you hear our Annihilation score in there, you think we might somehow endorse it, then you couldn't be more wrong. There was no permission https://t.co/zrcWKkP3u4
