Though the Game issues his long-promised The Documentary 2 album tomorrow (October 9), that's not all that's in store for fans of the Compton rapper. On October 16, he'll deliver a second disc of guest-heavy cuts called The Documentary 2.5, which will find the Cali vet spitting with the likes of Ty Dolla $ign, Schoolboy Q, DJ Quik and more. An official tracklisting for the record has just now been unveiled.
As previously reported, The Documentary 2 is fit with 19 tracks, including team-ups with Drake ("100"), Kendrick Lamar ("On Me"), Kanye West ("Mula"), Ice Cube and Dr. Dre ("Don't Trip") and more.
If that weren't enough material to sort through, you're in luck. The quickly delivered follow-up, The Documentary 2.5, adds another 17 songs to the Game's repertoire. We'd already heard the Skrillex-produced "El Chapo," but there are plenty more collaborations on the release. In fact, only three tracks on the release are lacking guests, and two of those are skits.
While Ab-Soul and Kendrick make it onto tomorrow's release, Black Hippy buddies Jay Rock and Schoolboy Q show up on 2.5 number "Gang Bang Anyway." Elsewhere, YG and Ty Dolla $ign help the Game out on "Up on the Wall," while Ty also hops on "My Flad/Da Homies."
Though a number of contemporary hip-hop figures are lending a verse or two to The Documentary 2.5, the set also features appearances from mainstays like Nas, Lil Wayne, E-40, DJ Quik, will.i.am, Busta Rhymes and more.
