Fucked Up recently signed on for a fall UK tour with Against Me!, leading fans to believe that the band would be taking a break from hosting their annual Halloween concert in Toronto. It turns out, however, that the show will be going ahead after all, as the tour has now been cancelled.
In a post on Fucked Up's blog, the band write, "We were going to go on this tour in the UK with this band Against Me, but then they cancelled all their shows for some reason (they never told us) so the tour isn't happening so we'll be in Toronto so we figure what the hell."
Unlike last year's event, which took place over three days and included a slew of bands, the 2010 instalment will be a scaled-down affair, the group say. "It's really last minute so there is only one show and probably won't feature any cool out of town bands. So far it's just us and the Sadies, and we'll add some other bands I guess, or [promoter] Mark [Pesci] will."
The show will take place at the Garrison on Halloween night. There are no advance tickets so you'll have to get hooked up at the door.
