Smooth-sounding serenader Frank Ocean's approach to releasing music in 2014 could not have been more different than Lil B's, but it didn't stop the musicians from pairing up in the studio.
The Odd Future crooner lay relatively low this year, only popping back onto the radar in November to tease fans with new track "Memrise." Lil B, on the other hand, put out a string of mixtapes, countless videos and even got his own emoji app to help fans express exactly how based they feel.
Nevertheless, Ocean apparently dropped by the studio to make some new music over the weekend. Last night (December 28), Lil B posted the above photo of himself and Ocean to his Dior Paint Tumblr with the caption: "RARE photo of LIL B x FRANK OCEAN IN THE STUDIO TOGETHER!! NEW MUSIC COMING SOON! Collect this!"
No other details were revealed, but given Lil B's track record, it shouldn't be too long until something surfaces online.
