Toronto hip-hop hustler Fortunato is gearing up to drop The Blue Collar EP next week, but before the new set of studio-recorded songs drops, Exclaim! has got your exclusive first look at the rapper's latest video.

"I Am" appears on the upcoming effort, which was produced by New Brunswick's Sean One, and it features a guest appearance from New York rapper General Steele (of Smif-N-Wessun).

"As soon as I sent the track to Steele he knew exactly where I was coming from conceptually," Fortunato said, describing the fruitful collaboration with Steele. As for the video, he paired up with New York-based director K Boogie to shoot the clip.

The narrative-driven video "shows the struggle for self improvement and success in the face of adversity," though there are also slightly less dramatic shots of the Jays hat-repping rapper spitting into the camera alongside his latest creative partner.
