Former Against Me! Bassist Andrew Seward Announces Debut Album from Human Parts Project

A few months following bassist Andrew Seward's exit from Against Me!, the musician has revealed plans to issue an LP with his new project, Human Parts.

The group's self-titled debut arrives September 10 in North America via Thick Air and two days later in Australia via Poison City. A press release notes that Seward began conceptualizing the record prior to leaving Against Me!, but began proper work on Human Parts shortly after his departure. Joining him in the band are his wife Verite, Andy "Pants" Schwich and Kim Helm (Whiskey & Co.).

Described as being able to "reference punk's past and present while effortlessly injecting elements from other genres," the song cycle apparently features tracks that deal with everything from the "perils of celebrity culture" ("Hi, Nice to Meet You") to Seward's dog's reaction to thunder storms ("The Rumble").
