In February, Foo Fighters revealed plans to redo their first-ever tour, only to have those plans dashed by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Now, Dave Grohl and co. have announced makeup dates for later this year.
While a stop at Hamilton's FirstOntario Centre was initially set to be the last stop, the Foos' updated itinerary now leads off with their lone Canadian date, presently set for October 1. You can find the band's updated itinerary below.
As Grohl admitted in a statement, "playing a gig with a sock full of broken bones is one thing, but playing a show when YOUR health and safety is in jeopardy is another. We fuckin' love you guys. So let's do this right and rain check shit."
Grohl also reiterated that the band's new album is complete, adding that "it's fuckin' killer." He promised, "The lights and stage are in the trucks, ready to go. The SECOND we are given the go ahead, we'll come tear shit up like we always do."
To pass the time indoors these days, Grohl has taken to sharing true stories about his life on Instagram.
