Feist Shares Her New Song "Pleasure"

Following some cryptic teasing Thursday (March 16), Feist has given us the first new song off her anticipated new album Pleasure. Yes, right now, you can listen to the record's title track "Pleasure."

"Our desire was to record that state without guile or go-to's and to pin the songs down with conviction and our straight up human bodies," Feist previously said of the album, adding, "I titled the album Pleasure like I was planting a seed or prophecising some brightness."

And as you'll hear below, "Pleasure" does come loaded with that brightness, as well as sombre underlining and a surprising amount of grit. In fact, we're a bit shocked that the song can offer all three so equally in its four-minute-plus runtime.

As previously reported, Pleasure is due out on April 28 via Universal, and available for pre-order here. It marks the follow-up to 2011's Metals and her fifth solo album overall. The forthcoming full-length was produced by Feist, Mocky and Renaud Letang.
