For those checking out Canadian Music Week this month, be on the lookout for not one but two label showcases presented by Exclaim!. You may recall us announcing that we'll be teaming up with Do Right! Music on March 14, and now we can tell you that on the same day we'll be spreading our love to the folks over at Six Shooter Records.
Taking place at the Reverb (651 Queen St. W), "Exclaim! Presents: the Songstresses of Six Shooter at CMW" will feature the talent of Melissa McClelland, Jenn Grant, Amelia Curran, Wendy McNeill and special guest, Moriarty.
Also on hand will be a booth designated to Keep A Breast. KAB has spent the last couple of years travelling on the road with music tours, action sports events and fashion gatherings in order to reach out to young people and raise awareness for breast cancer.
Without a wristband or CMW pass, the showcase will cost you $15 at the door.
As Six Shooter says, life is too short to listen to shitty music, so stop on by the Reverb and get an earful of the good stuff.
