Elliott Brood Celebrate 10th Anniversary with 'Tin Type' Reissue and Canadian Tour

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jun 4, 2013

It's been a decade since Canadian alt-country staples Elliott Brood formed in Toronto, and they're celebrating the milestone by reissuing their debut recording and hitting the road.

The band's Tin Type EP originally came out in 2004 through Weewerk, but it will be reissued by Paper Bag Records in mid-August in remastered vinyl form. The original six-song tracklist will be fleshed out with three extra tunes. Pre-order the record, which is signed and hand-numbered, here.

To celebrate the release, Elliott Brood will be hitting the road in Ontario and Western Canada. This so-called "Electro-Spective Tour" will, according to a press release, "[focus] on the smaller Western Canada markets and more intimate venues that helped break the band a decade ago."

The schedule is below. It will be fleshed out with two additional secret shows, the cities and venues of which will be announced closer to the show dates. Tickets for those special gigs will only be available through the group's website.
