Having already conquered the worlds of pro wrestling and acting, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has just made his rap debut. He raps on the song "Face Off" from Tech N9ne's new album, ASIN9NE.

It's a little surprising that the 49-year-old Johnson has waited until now to make his hip-hop debut. But perhaps even more surprising is how good he is. His bars on the epic-sounding "Face Off" might not be quite as nimble as his collaborators — Joey Cool and King Iso are also featured guests — but he's got a solid flow and his gravelly voice sounds sufficiently badass.

Johnson's voice is immediately recognizable — especially because the song includes the lyric, "What's my motherfucking name? ROCK!" At the end of the track, Johnson can be heard saying, "One take, that's a wrap."

He wrote on Twitter that he wants the song to be the "greatest workout anthem ever." With its epic choral hook and aggressive beat, it's definitely a good pump-up jam.

Hear the song below; a video will be released later today. We're excited to smell what else the Rock is cookin' in terms of his musical career.
