Justin Bieber teamed up with super producer BloodPop and singer-songwriter Julia Michaels for "Friends" last year, but the hit track has just been given a rework by some other Canadian talent. Toronto-based, OVO-affiliated R&B tag team dvsn have put their own spin on the song.
The duo, composed of Nineteen85 and Daniel Daley, strip the track of its bubblegum effects, imbuing it instead with a eerie synths and electronic strings that sound more in line with their usual brooding groove — not to mention a brand new verse.
