Yesterday afternoon, Kid Cudi seemingly hit out at rap titans Drake and Kanye West in a rant on Twitter, mentioning rappers that are "Talkin top 5 and be having 30 people write songs for them." While West seemed genuinely hurt by the comments, Drake's response was a little more humorous.
While onstage in Oakland, CA last night during his Summer Sixteen tour performance, Drake declared, "Boy you gettin' way too high, you need to Cud-it," making wordplay out of Cudi's name while cleverly referencing O.T. Genasis' hit "Cut It."
He also took the time to defend his friend and collaborative partner in West, saying "I heard boys were talking down today. Shoutout to my brother Kanye West. We both got sold out shows."
