Well isn't this familiar. Last year, San Francisco folk pop outfit the Dodos released the album Live From Akropolis, Prague as a free digital download. Now, they're doing the same thing with Live in Amsterdam, which is being released in time to promote the band's latest North America tour.
The 11-track collection includes cuts from this year's No Color, in addition to older songs. Download it in exchange for an email address at the bottom of the page.
As an added bonus, when you pass over your email address to get the live album, you'll be entered to into a draw for free tickets to the show closest to you. While you'll get the download right away, ticket winners will be notified no less than three days before the show.
As for the Dodos' North American outing, it includes three Canadian shows: Quebec City on September 16, Ottawa on September 17 and Hamilton on September 18. Luyas will support all three Canadian stops. Scroll past the album tracklist to see the full schedule.
