Apparently X is not gon' give it to ya. Following failure to pay $400,000 in child support, rapper DMX (real name Earl Simmons) has been sentenced to six months in an Erie County prison.

The sentence follows Simmons' arrest on June 26 prior to a performance at Radio City Music Hall for "several issues outstanding." In addition to the unpaid child support, Simmons was also under warrant for bail jumping in White Plains, NY, and for being an aggravated unlicensed motor vehicle operator in Yonkers, NY.

The rapper had also recently been involved in a gas station robbery in Newark, NJ, though no charges were filed.

The sentence was handed down by Family Court Judge Deanne Trippi and will be served at the Erie County Holding Center in Buffalo, NY.

DMX previously filed for bankruptcy back in 2013.
