Ontario indie-pop unit Dizzy recently took home the Alternative Album of the Year Juno for their debut album Baby Teeth, and now the band have revealed a brand new single called "Twist."
The track will appear on an upcoming EP from the group. According to a press release, the EP "showcases the band's growth and confidence both sonically and lyrically."
It marks the first song entirely self-produced by Dizzy, and it opts for a more analog sound than their debut album, implementing live drums and piano.
"I wrote the first bit of 'Twist' in a hotel shower in Amarillo, TX, last fall," singer Katie Munshaw explained in a statement. "It's about the hold someone can have over you even after they've left your life."
