The Dirty Nil Sign with Fat Wreck Chords for New Single

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jun 27, 2014

Ontario rock trio the Dirty Nil have spent the past few years rolling out a string of singles, EPs and mixtapes, and all of their hard work has now paid off in the form of a deal with Fat Wreck Chords, with whom they will release a new 7-inch this summer.

The single, which will be out on August 19, consists of two songs: "Cinnamon" and "Guided by Vices." According to a press release, these songs "[layer] feral garage rock with uneasy pop hooks, all assembled and reassembled to make your mind melt into fractured pieces of chaos."

The band said in a statement, "'Cinnamon' and 'Guided by Vices' are about chasing death and fearing the opposite sex. We look foreword to playing them and other songs of smiling discontent to all the girls and boys on our 2014 tour of America."
