Dinosaur Jr.

"Tiny"

BY Gregory AdamsPublished May 25, 2016

After announcing their upcoming Give a Glimpse of What Yer Not yesterday (May 24) through an album trailer starring inventory room creeper Henry Rollins, Dinosaur Jr. are now blasting eardrums with the first sonic preview. New single "Tiny" was performed on Later... with Jools Holland last night, and the studio recording is also streaming now.

The song is a blissfully fuzzy piece of Dino-style alt-pop, with J. Mascis' signature sleepy singing voice floating above rip-roaring riffs and some straightforward Murph beats. As you may expect, Mascis also works his fingers to the bone with not one but two bendy solos.

Below, you'll find a Spotify stream of the studio recording, as well as Dinosaur Jr.'s late night performance for Jools Holland.
