Destroyer Plots Solo North American Tour with Pink Mountaintops

BY Alex HudsonPublished Aug 9, 2013

Following 2011's outstanding Kaputt, Destroyer songwriter Dan Bejar toured with a large band in order to recreate that record's lush soft-rock arrangements. This fall, however, he will be stripping things down for a smaller-scale trip.

The 12-date November jaunt will find Bejar touring solo and, according to to a press release, playing "songs from Destroyer's entire catalog with the hope of a new song or two." The bulk of the gigs are in the U.S., but he'll be playing Canadian dates in Toronto and Montreal. See the schedule below.

For most of the gigs, Bejar will be joined by fellow Vancouver resident Stephen McBean, who will be playing under his Pink Mountaintops banner. This will apparently be Destroyer's last tour until 2015.
