Destroyer Orders Budgies Burritos in "June" Video

Watch the wild food delivery video for the new single from 'Labyrinthitis'

Destroyer is preparing to release the new album LABYRINTHITIS on March 25, and Dan Bejar's project has released a new video for the track "June."

The song is a spacious synth-y groove, featuring bouncing bass and layers of Destroyer's signature echoing trumpet and soft rock smoothness. The epic-length track eventually shifts into an anxious jam full of wonky, pitch-warped non-sequiturs.

As for the accompanying video, it's a wild piece of Vancouver esoterica. Beginning at iconic East Van veggie eatery Budgies Burritos, we see a burrito getting prepped and then picked up by a sci-fi delivery android. After taking a very long route through Stanley Park, we meet the person who ordered the burrito — and you'll never guess who it is.

The video was directed by David Galloway and Bejar himself. Watch it below. This follows past LABYRINTHITIS singles "Tintoretto, It's for You" and "Eat the Wine, Drink the Bread."
