There's no question that Exclaim! cover stars Deerhunter have put together another master stroke with their latest album Halcyon Digest, but sometimes a listener needs something a little perkier to grace their computer speakers. Fortunately, Diplo has joined forces with Montreal's Lunice to remix album track "Helicopter."
While Bradford Cox's vocals remain in tact, the rest of the track is treated to some Southern rap-inspired drum loops and added synth textures. It's an ideal balance, and definitely worth four minutes of your time. Now we just need a rapper to jump on the remix!
