Crack ov Dawn

France’s Crack ov Dawn are a strange bunch. Dressed in a glam/goth motif and sporting names like Britney Beach, Sexy Sadie and Spicy Sky, these five guys seem like they should be an ironic cover band and not a deadly serious rock group. Unfortunately, they take the latter description to the extreme. These guys are way too into themselves and their liberal use of "fuck” doesn’t do them any favours. Most of the tracks sound like a poor man’s Billy Talent, ruined even further by some odd reverb vocal effects, and unoriginal riffs. There’s really no reason to own this — Billy Talent swear way less, and are far more interesting than this group of ragtag goths.
