Courtney Love Accuses Daughter of Physical Assault

Back in December, arguably insane Hole front-woman Courtney Love lost custody of her daughter, Frances Bean Cobain. Now, Love has opened up about some of the problems, blaming the irrational behaviour on Frances.

Speaking with the New York Daily News, Love said the accusations started with violent actions from Frances Bean. "I was talking on the phone, Frances came out of my room," Love says. "She was hysterical. First she was crying at my legs, saying, 'Why was I born?' Then she bites and scratches and pulls on my hair. She punched me."

As for the accusations that she was violent towards her daughter, an unnamed source tells New York Daily News that Love "never hit Frances. Not one time. All the punches were coming from Frances."

According to Love herself, "I grabbed her with both arms. That left a bruise and she took a picture of her bruise."

Courtney Love and Frances Bean Cobain are expected to reconcile by Frances's 18th birthday in August. The two have recently been communicating with the help of Love's former flame Edward Norton.

With this legal stress almost out of the way, Love will be able to put some focus on her likely terrible new Hole album Nobody's Daughter, which is due on April 27.
