Conan O'Brien

"Twenty Flight Rock" (ft. Jack White)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Nov 9, 2010

There was a whole lot of soloin' going on last night (November 8) on the first episode of Conan O'Brien's new show, Conan. Backed by his newly christened Basic Cable Band and flanked by pal Jack White, the late-night host tore into a jump jivin' take on Eddie Cochrane's 1957 single, "Twenty Flight Rock." White threw down some hot licks, as did band leader Jimmy Vivino. Coco's solo seemed a little off-kilter, as did his oddly affected Southern singing voice, but his zest for the song pulled him through.
