The Company Band

Pros & Cons

BY Denise FalzonPublished Jul 31, 2012

The Company Band are comprised of vocalist Neil Fallon (Clutch), drummer Jess Margera (CKY), guitarist James A. Rota (Fireball Ministry), bassist Brad Davis (Fu Manchu) and guitarist Dave Bone, who all come together to form one hell of a rocking super group. Their latest offering is five-track EP Pros & Cons, which follows their 2009 self-titled album and 2007's Sign Here, Here, and Here EP. Starting with party rock anthem "House of Capricorn," Pros & Cons kicks off with catchy riffs and heavy grooves, Fallon's iconic vocal style grabbing your attention and maintaining it throughout. "Black Light Fever" and "Kill Screen" also feature some intense rock'n'roll guitar work, but it's the gritty "Loc Nar" that is the main highlight, with Fallon's powerful, commanding vocals and its slow, chugging riffs reminiscent of '80s hard rock and heavy metal. "El Dorado" ends Pros & Cons on the lighter side of things, featuring tons of melody and a fade-out that leaves you wanting more - much more.
