Cigarettes After Sex are celebrating five years of their self-titled debut album by announcing a vinyl reissue and plotting a tour of North America.
The trio will head out on a tour of the US and Canada in September, starting with a show at Seattle's Showbox SoDo on the 12th. The following day (September 13) will bring the band to Vancouver's Vogue Theatre, after which the Cigs work their way through the continent, landing in Toronto on October 5 at October's Very Own venue, HISTORY, before wrapping up in Minneapolis on the 8th.
Presales for the trek begin this Thursday (June 23) at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday (June 24) at 10 a.m. local here. See the full schedule below.
The fifth-anniversary edition of Cigarettes After Sex — available for pre-order via Partisan Records — has been pressed on limited-edition clear and white vinyl. A listing for the reissue estimates a shipping date of August 12. Find more details here.
